FLAVELLES IN THE WORLD
The Flavelle Family Tree is currently being tracked in two parts:
Tree for Thomas Thomas Flavelle (dates unknown) lived prior to William, and we believe he may be William’s grandfather, but we have not been able to definitively prove the link.
This portion of the tree was compiled by Derek White of Ireland. Tree for William William Flavelle (1791 – 1865) was born in Dungannon, Ireland. Many of his descendants emigrated to Canada and the United States.
This portion of the tree was originally compiled by Nancy Sootheran Luxford over a 10 year period (1979 – 1989). The “binder” is well-known to the Canadian Flavelles,
and has been updated by many of the Canadian Flavelles.
In addition, Stanley Meeke (Ireland) and Misty Holt (United States) have been kind enough to provide updated information about the descendants of
Jane Flavelle Meeke and William Flavelle (1825 – 1886) [two of William’s children]. We would be very interested in documenting and publishing additional branches of the family.
